Kasia was truly a bright light in the lives of everyone she met. A beautiful girl who loved life and no matter how big or small a part we had in her life she made everyone feel like a friend. Kasia will be sorely missed but forever a bright light of inspiration in our hearts. She showed us all how live to the max and how to fight and never give up. I found this poem and adapted it a little. A light went out on Earth for us The day you said goodbye And on that day a star was born, The brightest in the sky Reaching through the darkness With its rays of purest white Lighting up the Heavens As it once lit up our lives With beams of love to heal The broken hearts you left behind Where always in our memory Your lovely star will shine.
